FEATURING: ANUJ TIWARI
My three and a half months internship experience as an Operations Intern at Zevamp was nothing short of amazing. There was a lot of learning involved. This was my longest internship experience up until now and by far the best.
Starting off, I was at a slight loss as to how I would perform because I was not from a content background originally. I had a notion that things might go wrong at any point, and I might make major blunders in the starting itself. So, although excited, I was a bit apprehensive.
However, the team was as supportive as one could imagine. I was helped and guided all along the way and learned how things work in the organisation. Whenever I faced any difficulties, doubts, or challenges, I got in touch with the team, who were extremely cooperative, understanding, and willing to solve my queries.
As time went on, I started to grasp the inner workings and methodologies. I became more confident with the work assigned to me. The team seemed to magically know how to assign the perfect amount of work. There were hardly any times when I felt overworked or that I had no work. In case I had prior commitments, the team would be flexible and ensure that my workload is flexible.
This continued throughout the tenure of my internship. I learned a lot about the writing industry as well as corporate cultures. Additionally, I developed and polished a lot of soft skills. I banked on and improved my communication, writing skills, time management skills, mail drafting, and even interpersonal skills.
The entire experience and the team were magnificent in all senses, and the only regret about the entire thing was that I could not continue for a longer period of time. There are a lot of takeaways that I would take along with me. Hoping that I was able to contribute to the team to some extent and grateful to the team for everything.
